Goodbye to my yucky sink and
Helloooo amazingly white sink!! I am so mad at myself for not trying this sooner! For years, I have been disgusted by our ghetto utility sink in the laundry room. It was "clean", I had bleached it and tried to make it look clean, but because it's the 'go to' sink after all of our painting adventures (and we've had a LOT), it had all kinds of colors of paint dribbled down the sides and on the bottom. Thinking about people looking at the sink made my little bit of pride cringe. I didn't want them to see my embarrassing sink! So I had an idea to try these cool Amway
scrubbies I buy from my friend. They have cleaned up some pretty amazing things, so why not a sink? They are like SOS pads, but don't scratch plastic, glass or
porcelain. (They are awesome for glass top ranges.) Anyway, it did take a lot of 'elbow grease', but I wanted to cry when I was done. the sink looks almost like new! I WISH so much I would have taken a before picture. Your welcome new home owners...Goodbye treadmill, for now . . . One of the first beasts we moved getting the house ready for showing. It was the most exercise I got with our treadmill in a while! Sad to say.
Goodbye to one of my favorite walls of pictures. While it is fun to look at, the realtor said it could be distracting. Our goal is to keep them focused on what a great house this is, not how cute the kids who live here now are. (o:
And goodbye . . . for now . . . to all the cute artwork hanging everywhere that makes me smile!
I can't wait to get these happy things back up again!
