More Birthday Pics

A couple of Nat's presents - she's always wanted one of these goofy microphones.

And a 'skip-it' - which is trickier than it looks! It took her a few tries.

It was a nice evening so the girls did a little jumping . . .

The cat wanted to come out and play too, she is always escaping into our backyard.

Natalie's "cake" (o:

A birthday visit from grandma.

Modeling her new outfit.

For her present from grandma and grandpa T, Nat got to go for an evening of shopping, which is becoming a favorite "tradition" for the girls now. I think this little girl had a pretty darn good birthday, and we havne't even covered the friend party yet . . . (o:

Drugs at Chuck E. Cheese's?

This is quite possibly the kookiest set of pictures of my kids that I've ever seen. They all make me laugh. We were all especially laughing at the hilarious Chuck E. Cheese "drawings (the black and white pictures). I LOVE Natalie's face above. And the picture of Angela holding her goofy picture . . . priceless.

This was our birthday celebration for Natalie. We called grandma and grandpa at the last minute and they joined us too. Good old Chuck E. Cheeses has some kind of magic that keeps the kids coming back for more. Maybe it's some kind of drug they pump in the air. That would explain my kids' extra goofy behavior as well. See for yourself . . .

See, I told you.

Happy Birthday Nat!

8 years ago this adorable blue eyed, brown haired, freckle faced girl joined our family! We love you Nat! (I love Sarah passed out in the background.)

Twilight loves birthdays too - she always loves the boxes and bags to hide in!

Natalie passed out donuts with sprinkles to her class and, of course, I brought her a balloon. (o:

The girls' school has a good set up for lunch visitors. They have a separate table the kids can go to with visitors and they can choose 2-3 friends to come along too. We had a fun lunch all together since Sarah has her lunch at close to the same time as Natalie.

Isn't this such a Natalie shirt? It looked so cute on her for her birthday outfit.

April Birthdays!

I still don't take for granted what a fun thing it is to get to hang out with family so often. It it still such a novelty to me. We get to have Sunday dinner about once a month with my family and on this particular night we were celebrating our April birthdays! This is the kiddos table that my dad sets up. Notice the tarp under the table. It is really a necessity for those inevitable chocolate milk spills when a basketball somehow finds itself bouncing across the table. (I think this actual event happened this night.) It's never a dull moment with these kids!

My sister-in-law Kimmie makes such cute cakes and it is tradition that everyone gets their own cake from her for her gift to them. She does such a great job. Mom got flowers.

A ball cake for Collin's 9th birthday.

And Natalie asked for butterflies on hers. She loved it!

Happy Birthday Mystery Man

The girls were soooo excited for daddy's birthday this year. They love helping plan everything and surprises are just so much fun to be a part of. We planned a lovely dinner of crepes and showered daddy with gifts like a big box of Captain Crunch, Coke, some items to use with his new Grill he will hopefully get soon and a couple movies.

Finally, he came home to our surprises and lovely birthday decorations.

The highlight of the evening was watching the hilarious play the girls wrote and produced for daddy. They incorporated their special present to him in the play. A HUGE container of Cheeseballs! If I remember right, during the scene in the play when the cheeseballs came on stage, there were choirs of angels singing. (O: How could anyone NOT have a happy birthday with a cheeseball play by such funny girls?

Sweet Gracie

Another fun family birthday! Sweet Grace is getting so big. I love how she is blowing out the candles. I'm surprised she got them out! I think sometimes, since Gracie is the one of the littlest ones in the family - the other kids think she is a dolly. (o: My girls love her and think she is so cute. They are right!

Danny's Birthday Extravaganza

We get to do fun things in Utah, like celebrate family birthdays now! My nephew, Danny, turned five this year and we had a fun time at Trafalga with the family. It had a cool glow in the dark mini golf course. The kids and Harvey* also got to play some arcades and hit the jackpot at one of the games. They won hundreds of tickets and bought some silly crayon banks with their winnings. I was not thrilled - I hate those dumb cheap toys, but the girls were so excited. Cute Danny - this kid is going to follow in his daddy's footsteps. We have so many "Andy" stories of when my brother was growing up. He almost killed himself, burned the house down, did major damage to things so many times. They make for great stories now and we laugh our heads off. Now Andy is a police officer. (o: Who knew? Ha! Danny is very bright and has more energy than any kid I've ever known. "No fear" is his motto. Or maybe "140%" I can't wait to see where he ends up. General authority in the church, lawyer, rocket scientist . . . I love this cute kid. Life would be a bore without him in our family. And little Sammy - he's the quiet one, for now. Isn't he adorable?

Happy Birthday Sarah!

From Blog Favorites Sept.Oct.
A week and a half after our big move, Sarah turned 10! She got to enjoy a unique birthday this year! She looked so cute in her new, blue velour outfit.

I usually try to bring a balloon to the girls if their birthday falls on a school day. This balloon was very entertaining for the girls during recess. (o: That's Sarah with new friends Amelie, Sophia, and Gracie.

On Sarah's birthday, after school we went to search for Halloween costumes and look who we ran into! He's shorter in person than I imagined. Love his style.

We did our family birthday get togethers at various times, but the night of her actual birthday we headed to good old Chuck E. Cheese! It was actually quite fun - not many people go there on weeknights!
