Zoo Trip

On Martin Luther King day I decided to take the girls to the zoo for a fun outing. It was a little chilly, but we had fun! The redesigned tiger exhibit was much more kid friendly, I used to have to lift the girls up to see over the bushes and fence.
The girls usually shy away from the Lorikeet Landing. They used to be scared of the birds. This time Sarah decided she was up for feeding them. Natalie and Angela opted to just watch and had a lot of fun.

The stinky bat cave!

I thought this was funny. Don't they call this "chimping"? Or something like that - when people all gather around to look at a picture on the LCD of a digital camera? If you look there's a monkey behind them. Not officially a chimpanzee, but close enough for the punny picture!

We had fun exploring the new African Savannah, but didn't get to see the lions - they weren't out.

We had fun anyway!
